About Our Cycling Trips
What kind of cycling tours do you offer?
We specialize in self-guided and guided cycling tours throughout Thailand and Asia. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely discovery itinerary or a more active training-focused route, we have options for solo travelers, couples, families, and small groups. And, we love to customize so feel free to get in touch.

What is the difference between guided and self-guided tours?
Guided tours include a professional guide cycling with you, support vehicle (on selected tours), and more inclusive service. Self-guided tours give you the freedom to ride at your own pace with the support of our easy-to-use app, a detailed roadbook, and full logistics taken care of in the background including luggage transfer and support vehicle in some cases.
1 | About Our Tours
Where do your trips take place?
Our core tours take place in Thailand, with handpicked routes through cultural landmarks, lush countryside, and coastal backroads. We do offer tours in other destinations in Asia, with select trips in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, the Philippines and Bangladesh. All our destinations and tours are not on our website yet, so feel free to reach out directly to know more.
1 | About Our Tours
Are your tours suitable for beginners or only experienced cyclists?
We design our trips to suit a wide range of abilities. Easy to Active trips are suitable for casual riders and active travelers. Sportier options are aimed at experienced cyclists. Our trip pages indicate the difficulty level and average daily distance/climb. And, we love to customize so feel free to get in touch. We can often adjust an Active tour and make it accessible to families with young children (even toddlers), or break down the stages of a Sporty tour to make it more accessible.

Can I join as a solo traveler?
Yes! Many of our travelers are solo adventurers. Our self-guided format works well for solo riders, and we sometimes suggest pairing up with another traveler on the same itinerary (when available). Solo travelers can also join our scheduled trips for a more social, guided ride.
Planning & Booking
How do I book a tour?
You can contact us directly through our website or email to check availability and confirm your preferred dates. A deposit is typically required to secure your booking.
1 | About Our Tours
How far in advance should I book?
For popular travel periods and to ensure availability of bicycles, e-bikes or specific room types, we recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance. 4+ months ahead is obviously better.
1 | About Our Tours
What’s included in the price?
Our trip pages outline exactly what's included, but in general, our tours include bike rental (you can opt out and bring your own for a discount), accommodations, daily breakfast, luggage transfers, our roadbook app, and detailed local support. Guided tours also include a cycling guide and possibly a support vehicle.
1 | About Our Tours
Are there additional costs I should plan for?
Meals not mentioned in the itinerary, personal expenses, and optional activities are not included. Some trips may also involve minor transport fees (e.g., tuktuk rides, ferry crossings).
1 | About Our Tours
Do you offer custom trips?
Absolutely! We love designing bespoke itineraries for private groups, families, or special interests. Just reach out with your preferences and we’ll tailor a trip for you.
Bikes & Equipment
What type of bikes do you provide?
Bicycles available vary based on locations, but wherever you go, we use high-quality, well maintained bikes that are ideal for the backroads we travel. Our most common bicycles are high-quality Trek FX2 Disc or Trek Dual Sport 2 hybrid bikes, Trek FX3 e-bikes, and Triban 520 aluminium road and gravel bikes. Look at the "Our Bikes" section on the website as you'll find the most updated information there.
1 | About Our Tours
Do you offer e-bikes?
Yes, we offer e-bikes in limited quantity. Early reservation is recommended. Let us know your height when requesting an e-bike so we can allocate the correct frame size.
1 | About Our Tours
Can I bring my own bike?
Yes, you're welcome to bring your own bike. Just let us know upon booking as this may imply a discount in case bicycle rental was originally included on that tour. Some trips may include transport that affects logistics.
1 | About Our Tours
Can I bring my own pedals or saddle?
Absolutely. Let us know in advance if you wish to bring your own saddle, or own SPD pedals, so we can get the bikes ready to mount them upon arrival.
1 | About Our Tours
Are helmets provided?
Yes, we provide helmets on all our tours (and wearing them is compulsory). If you prefer to use your own helmet, you're welcome to bring it.
1 | About Our Tours
What equipment is provided on self-guided tours?
Aside from high-quality, well looked-after bicycles, we provide helmets, bottles, a phone holder, and a top-tube bag to keep your gadgets and essentials easily accessible throughout the ride. On some of the tours, we may provide pannier bags for the duration of the trip.
Accommodations & Meals
What kind of accommodation is included?
We select charming 2-4* hotels and boutique guesthouses, with comfort, local character, and cyclist-friendly services in mind. Family-friendly or upgraded options are available on request. Note that in some areas, the comfort of accommodation may be more simple based on local availability.
1 | About Our Tours
Do you cater to dietary requirements?
Yes. Please inform us in advance of any dietary needs so we can accommodate you at meal stops and hotel breakfasts. For Thailand self-guided tours, we include a vegan glossary in our roadbook to help you order at restaurants.
1 | About Our Tours
Are meals included?
Breakfast is included daily. Some trips include additional meals; details are available on each itinerary. Self-guided tours typically offer more flexibility, so lunches and dinners are often free for you to explore local cuisine.
Safety & Support
How safe are your routes?
We take pride in designing routes that use the smallest, most beautiful backroads with minimal traffic. Thailand is a safe destination for cyclists when routes are professionally designed, and we continuously scout and adjust our itineraries for safety. This is true for our other destinations too.
We are still cycling on roads and trails, so common sense and basic caution do apply.
1 | About Our Tours
What support do I get on a self-guided tour?
You receive full trip briefings, a roadbook app with GPS navigation, local contact numbers, and daily support. We monitor your progress and can assist quickly in case of issue. You have luggage transfer support in most cases and, if preferred, a support vehicle just for you.
1 | About Our Tours
Do you offer travel insurance?
We don’t provide insurance, but it’s mandatory to have your own travel insurance covering cycling and medical emergencies.
1 | About Our Tours
What if I have a mechanical problem on the road?
On our guided tours, this is fully taken care of (if you bring your own bike, make sure to have bike specific spare parts, chain links, tubes, etc.). On our self-guided tours, we provide tools and spares for common issues (punctures, etc.). In case of major problems, we offer local support and can often reach you quickly.
Family Travel
Are your tours suitable for children?
Yes! We offer family-friendly itineraries with shorter distances, engaging stops, and flexible logistics. We have equipment for all ages, including child seats, Thule trailers, tag-alongs, and junior bikes.
1 | About Our Tours
What kind of support do families get?
We adapt routes and accommodations based on your children’s age and abilities, and make sure the logistics allow for a stress-free, fun experience. We often suggest to opt-in for a support vehicle (our drivers are so friendly!), so there is always the option to hop-on and shorten a stage if required, making for great flexibility.
Travel & Logistics
Do I need a visa to travel in Thailand or Southeast Asia?
Many nationalities get visa-free entry or visa on arrival in Thailand for up to 30 to 60 days. For other countries in Southeast Asia, rules vary. Please check before coming as rules do change from time to time.
1 | About Our Tours
How do I get to the starting point of the tour?
Some trips start near major hubs. Others include transfers or train rides as part of the experience. Detailed info is shared during the booking process.
1 | About Our Tours
What happens to my luggage during the trip?
On guided tours, your luggage always follows in the support vehicle and will wait for you at your accommodation upon arrival daily. On self-guided tours, we transfer your luggage from hotel to hotel so you can ride light with just a pannier or daypack. There can be the option for you to travel with panniers, and your main luggage is shipped to your final stop - check with us for options.

What do I need to pack?
We send a detailed packing list before your trip, adjusted to your tour location. Essentials include padded cycling shorts, light activewear, sunscreen, and your preferred personal items. Helmets are provided unless you prefer your own.

What are your payment terms?
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance is typically due 30 days before departure.

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation terms are shared at booking and may vary depending on the tour. We strongly recommend having travel insurance in place.
